This just makes me want to scream. Only a few years ago the muslim Waqf administration carted out whole truckloads of dirt from “renovations” in the Temple Mount complex, destroying previously untouched archeological stratas. The Israeli government just ignored it. Now they’re doing it again.

It’s the Temple bloody Mount! They should be sweeping the floors with toothbrushes – but they’re bringing in tractors.

And this is just stupid. I suppose Muhammad just conjured those walls out of midair, then, because the Islamic empires certainly never reached the level of stone working of the lower 2/3s of the walls (the temple was considered advanced even by Roman technical standards). Just compare Suleiman’s walls to Herod’s. And Salah’s by no means the only one who denies that Jews ever lived in Jerusalem. No wonder the Waqf have no regard for archeology they don’t regard as “theirs”.

And then they turn around and accuse Israel of “politicizing archeology”. These people are insane.
