The museum at Bletchley Park needs funding, badly. To show your support, sign this petition (British citizens/residents only) and write to the British government, news outlets (especially the BBC), and charitable organizations and/or companies that might be prevailed upon to donate. Here’s a form letter (feel free to alter and distribute it as you like):

Dear Sir/Madam,
Bletchley Park is a place of vital importance both to world history and to the development of the computer. During WWII, thousands of people worked around the clock to decipher German and Japanese codes. Their efforts led to significant advances in the field of computing, saved countless lives and were integral to the Allied victory, by some estimates shortening the war by as much as two years.
Today, the museum at Bletchley Park is in dire need of funding. Historic buildings are crumbling and need restoration. Despite its historical importance it receives no ongoing public funding and is urgently seeking donations.
We owe it to both ourselves and to the men and women who served there to preserve Bletchley Park for our generation and the next, as computer users, citizens of the free world and simply as human beings.
To companies/charitable organizations:
I urge you to show your support and gratitude to the heroes of Bletchley Park by considering a donation on behalf of your [company / organization].
To the British government:
I urge you to take action to protect this important piece of British and world heritage by funding the Bletchley Park Trust.
To news outlets:
As someone who cares about our history and heritage, this issue concerns me and I am certain it will concern others as well. I urge you to cover this story so that it receives the attention it deserves.
